For Art, Putting People First isn't just something he models just at work, it really is how he shows up for his family, friends and community!
So it was no surprise to us when Art decided to step up, and into the boxing ring, all in support of MacKids and WRHN (the merging of Grand River Hospitals KW and Freeport locations along with St. Mary’s Hospital) with Champions for Charity! Fight Night is happening April 24th, 2026!
For residents of Waterloo Region, McMaster Children’s Hospital plays an important role as it is home to the highest level of specialized pediatric health care services, many of which cannot be found elsewhere in the region. This hospital provides life-saving and life-altering care for patients and families in Waterloo Region, even though it is located in Hamilton. While local hospitals play an important role in providing essential health care in the region, for highly specialized care they will work in collaboration with the specialists at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
